Tap Water Quality in Aachen, Germany has been a concern of mine for years. I was born and raised there and have spent many happy memories (many unhappy ones too) drinking the local tap water. Then one day I had the epiphany that I should do something about this situation. It was then that I decided to investigate the water that my family was drinking. The results of my investigation were both surprising and disturbing.

The majority of the tap water in Aachen, GER was found to contain at least five different drugs. These included the painkillers hydrocodone, tranquillizers, anti-anxiety drugs and sedatives. All of these could well have been putting the health of my loved ones at risk. I also discovered that the amount of lead in the tap water was even higher than I first suspected. The result of all this would eventually prove to be very costly for my family. I decided to find out what I could do about it and bring the quality of my tap water back up to scratch.
