The first time I went to Kielce it didn''t even register to me that the water was coming from Poland. I was in for a pleasant surprise. There are hundreds of thousands of people there that live off the grid and all they use is their own water source, a stream or a lake that comes right out of their own backyards. Most of them use a system called "click and pull". It works pretty well and the majority of the homes that I have seen using this method are incredibly attractive and comfortable.

The first time I saw the town of Kielce, I assumed that they were in some kind of a rural area and that there must be some primitive way of preserving their tap water quality. Little did I know that most houses there have some sort of water filter on their faucets. But before you get too excited, I must warn you about one very important thing. It doesn''t look like the water coming from most of the taps on those little villages is going to be good enough for consumption.
